Urgent COVID-19 Update from October 22, 2020

October 22, 2020

Good Afternoon, Madison Families:

We have just been notified that the entire Madison Administrative team will be required to quarantine due to exposure to an individual who tested positive for COVID-19.  As a result, we will be moving to remote learning PK-12 starting Friday, October 23, 2020 through Monday, November 2, 2020.  Students will be able to return to in-person instruction on November 3. 2020.

Elementary Dismissal can occur as normal today.  No teaching staff or students were traced as close contacts. You do not have to come pick up your child

Classroom Instruction

Remote learning begins for all Madison School District students tomorrow. Teachers will notify their students what times they will be available each school day. Teachers will also provide live or video instruction and  make contact with students and families two or more times a week.

Tech Center

Tech Center students can still attend the Tech Center. If they have permission to drive they can drive themselves. Madison Tech Center Buses will continue to provide transportation at the normal departure times.

Material/Device Pick-up

Families may need to come to their student’s building to pick up any educational material or devices they have left in the building. Please, contact your student’s office directly to make these arrangements.

Student Activities/Sports

Due to only switching to remote learning, all student activities such as sport practices and events will continue as scheduled with social distancing and other Covid-19 protocols in place.

Go Trojans!
