To the Registered Voters of the Madison School District:
Due to a Board of Education trustee recently moving out of the district boundaries, the Madison School District is seeking applications for the current vacant position on the Board of Education.
An individual will be appointed to fill the vacant position on November 8th, 2021, or shortly
thereafter, through December 31st, 2024. Candidates must be a qualified school elector,
meaning at least 18 years of age, a citizen of the United States, a resident of the state of
Michigan for at least 30 days, a resident of the school district on or before the 30th day prior to
the date of appointment, and a registered voter in the Madison School District.
Interested persons must submit a letter expressing interest in the board position and their
qualifications for the position to:

No later than Saturday, October 30th, 2021.
Following a review of the submitted materials, the board will interview all applicants in open
session at our regular Board of Education Meeting on November 8, 2021 at 6:00 pm, held in the Board of Education Room. If you have any questions concerning the role of the Board of
