Welcome to Madison Middle School! Our middle school offers a comprehensive educational program that strives to meet the needs of all Madison Students. You will find that our student-centered approach to instruction is designed to allow all students to reach their full potential. Madison is known not only for putting students first, but also for having high academic expectations. Students have the opportunity to challenge themselves with advanced placement courses or to take classes that have multiple intervention opportunities to help them get back on track. For our efforts in helping students succeed and strive for excellence, the Michigan Department of Education consistently recognizes Madison Middle School as one of the best in Michigan at insuring that all students are achieving or, as the State calls it, “closing the achievement gap.”
At Madison, however, we know teaching goes beyond just academics. To ensure that our students are supported, all students have access to a school nurse, school counselor, and weekly lessons in social and emotional learning. We also know that the middle school years are ones of exploration, so our students are exposed to the fine arts, athletics, computer programming, and many extracurricular opportunities.
