Latch-Key Program

Welcome to the Madison Latch-Key Program

Latch-Key is a before and after school program that provides an atmosphere of fun and learning.
Each child has the opportunity to receive assistance with homework, socialize with other children,
express their creativity, play a variety of board games, use the computers and participate in small and large motor activities. 
All of Latch-Key staff is CPR/First Aid certified.

LATCH-KEY DELAYS & CLOSINGS
When school needs to be closed or shortened because of inclement weather, the Latch-Key program will also be cancelled for the day. In the event of a delay, the morning session will still operate on normal hours. If Latch-Key closes after a delay, parents or a person on the emergency list will be contacted to pick up the child. It is important that parents make arrangements for children in the event of an unexpected school closing. Please be sure your phone number is up to date in the office.

Schedule:  Latch-Key operates daily, Monday through Friday, except where noted due to scheduled school closings.

2021-22 Latch-Key Applications 

Latch-Key applications for the school year 2020 can be completed on My School Bucks.

All obligations must be paid before your application is accepted.  If you receive child day care assistance from the state, please notify me before the beginning of the school year as there is a form that needs to be completed and submitted for payment.

Flat rates will continue to be added to your account until you contact us to withdraw your child from Latch-Key. Your child may be removed from Latch-Key after two weeks of non-payment. Outstanding accounts will be turned in to the Central Office for further processing.

Fees: There is a non-refundable $15.00 annual registration fee per child. State paid childcare is accepted.

Late Fee Charges after 5:30pm*

$10.00 will be added to the account for 1-15 minutes past the end of the program

$20.00 will be added to the account for 15-30 minutes past the end of the program

*State paid childcare will not cover late fees.

Application Materials

If you are interested in the 2020-21 Latch-Key before and after school care program, an application can be completed on MySchoolBucks.com. An application fee will be added to your account.
