Welcome to the Madison Youth Athletic Council

MYAC

The Madison Youth Athletic Council (MYAC) provides athletic opportunities
to students in grades kindergarten through sixth grade,
until which time the MHSAA sponsors competitive league athletic teams.


Upcoming Events & Announcements:

LITTLE LEAGUE MANDATORY EVALUATIONS!!!! (see schedule below)

BASEBALL AND SOFTBALL ONLY (T-Ball players do not need to be evaluated)
Evaluations will be held at the Madison Indoor Facility across from the school. Please pay close attention to the times, and age group listed next to each time. Players need to show up at the start of the time slot, all players in each age division are evaluated at the same time.
Saturday, March 20th
8u BOYS (7/8 year olds) – 2:30pm
10u BOYS (9/10 year olds) – 4:30pm
14u BOYS (13/14 year olds) – 6:30pm
 
Sunday, March 21st
8u GIRLS (7/8 year olds) – 3:00pm
10u GIRLS (9/10 year olds) – 5:00pm
12u BOYS(11/12 year olds) – 6:30pm
12u GIRLS AND 14u GIRLS – Don’t need to be evaluated. We only had enough girls for one team at each age division.
 
ONLY PLAYERS WILL BE ALLOWED INSIDE THE FACILITY DURING EVALUATIONS. PARENTS WILL NEED TO WAIT IN THE PARKING LOT UNTIL WE ARE FINISHED. IF YOUR CHILD NEEDS TO GET FITTED FOR A UNIFORM, YOU CAN COME INSIDE AFTER EVALUATIONS TO GET FITTED (ONLY ONE PARENT ALLOWED INSIDE WHEN GETTING FITTED!)

 

LITTLE LEAGUE UNIFORM FITTING INFORMATION!!!

Uniform fittings will be held at the Madison indoor facility across from the school during the following dates and times:
  • Wednesday, March 10th – 6:00pm – 8:00pm
  • Tuesday, March 16th – 6:00pm – 8:00pm
  • Wednesday, March 17th 6:00pm – 8:00pm
  • Saturday, March 20th 2:30pm – 8:00pm
  • Sunday, March 21st 3:00pm – 8:00pm
All registered players MUST get fitted for a uniform.
MASK ARE REQUIRED AT ALL TIMES INSIDE THE FACILITY. EACH REGISTERED PLAYER AND ONE ADULT WILL BE ALLOWED INSIDE THE FACILITY. IF YOU HAVE MORE THAN ONE PLAYER REGISTERED TO PLAY, PLEASE BRING THEM INSIDE THE FACILITY ONE AT A TIME.

 


MYAC Mission, Vision, and Purpose Statements 

Mission Statement:  Madison Youth Athletic Council, in cooperation with our community, strives to develop and coordinate youth athletic opportunities intended for the youth attending Madison School District.

Vision Statement:  Developing individual excellence through athletic activities so that each student can reach his or her full potential.

Purpose Statement:  The Madison Youth Athletic Council meetings advance the goals set by the Council and the district in accordance with our mission and vision statements.

The MYAC Board meets the first Wednesday of the month from 7:30-8:30 p.m. in the Board Room.  We welcome and encourage anyone who would like to learn more, help with planning, or volunteer to attend.

Coaches needed!  The following athletic opportunities are being considered: golf and volleyball. If you are interested in coaching or assisting with any of these teams, please contact us.

Madison Schools Volunteer/Mentor Application
All Madison School District volunteers, mentors, and coaches are required to complete a Volunteer/Mentor Application in order to work with youth.
