Welcome to the Madison Youth Athletic Council


The Madison Youth Athletic Council (MYAC) provides athletic opportunities
to students in grades kindergarten through sixth grade,
until which time the MHSAA sponsors competitive league athletic teams.

MYAC Seeking Board Members

Now is your chance to get involved and join the MYAC board of directors. The following 3 positions are available for a two-year term beginning in June: President, Treasurer, and Member-at-Large. Elections will be held on June 13th at 7:30 at our regular MYAC meeting. Any member of MYAC is able to vote.

****If you wish to run in the election, please notify Heather Barber by June 8th so she can create the ballot****


MYAC Football Registration

Tackle Football Registration will be open from April 27th through June 8th. If you intend to register to play football, payment must be made by June 8th.

  • $50 Flag Football (1st and 2nd graders)
  • $110 Tackle Football (3rd/4th Junior and 5th/6th Senior)

There is a partial payment option for Tackle Football. The first payment of $55 will be due no later than June 8th. THIS IS NONREFUNDABLE, as we will be purchasing jerseys. Final payment must be made by August 3rd in order to participate.

What is included in the cost?

  • Students who play Tackle Football will be provided pants, which include a belt, knee pads, thigh pads, hip pads and tail pads. They will also be provided a practice jersey, shoulder pads and helmets for the season. All helmets have recently been inspected, reconditioned and certified.
  • Students will get to keep their sublimated game jerseys with their last name printed on the back. We are designing them to mimic the varsity jerseys.

*Trojan Youth Football Camp is recommended for athletes who intend to play MYAC or middle school football this fall.

MYAC Mission, Vision, and Purpose Statements 

Mission Statement:  Madison Youth Athletic Council, in cooperation with our community, strives to develop and coordinate youth athletic opportunities intended for the youth attending Madison School District.

Vision Statement:  Developing individual excellence through athletic activities so that each student can reach his or her full potential.

Purpose Statement:  The Madison Youth Athletic Council meetings advance the goals set by the Council and the district in accordance with our mission and vision statements.

The MYAC Board meets the first Wednesday of the month from 7:30-8:30 p.m. in the Board Room.  We welcome and encourage anyone who would like to learn more, help with planning, or volunteer to attend.

Coaches needed!  The following athletic opportunities are being considered: golf and volleyball. If you are interested in coaching or assisting with any of these teams, please contact us.

Madison Schools Volunteer/Mentor Application

Madison Summer Reading Pop-Ups

Madison Families: We would like to invite you to our Summer Pop-Up Lab with your elementary age children. Madison Summer Pop-Up Lab is located in the Performing Arts Center at Madison Schools from 9-11 a.m. Parents or guardian need to remain with their children during the event.
